Dry Cast
A mix of dry sand, cement and other materials is placed in a mould that is hydraulically pressed and pulsed under high pressure. Once in their finished state, the concrete paving is then left to set and cure
Wet Cast
A flow-able form of concrete is poured into a mold and then vibrated to release any air bubbles out of the mix. After the concrete has cured, the mold is stripped. Also known as simulated stone pavers.
Clay
Made from clay that is formed into shape and cured by baking in a kiln, much like pottery. It is essentially a natural product unlike wet and dry cast pavers that contain cement and other additives.
